Krabloonik Best Practices Review Committee Now Seeking Members

Snowmass Village, CO – July 13, 2015 – The Krabloonik Best Practices Review Committee is being created through an agreement between the Town of Snowmass Village and Krabloonik, and the Town is beginning their search process for the committee’s inaugural members.

The Krabloonik Best Practices Review Committee will consist of six members in total and will be tasked with reviewing conditions at the Krabloonik establishment and making recommendations to the Town of Snowmass Village. Three of these seats will be appointed by the Town Council, and the Town is currently encouraging all members of the community that have a general knowledge and interest in the treatment and care of animals, specifically sled dogs, to apply. The other three committee members will be appointed by Krabloonik, and all six members will serve to ensure the well-being, treatment, and care of the Krabloonik sled dogs is meeting established best practices.

Committee members will also be expected to attend meetings, attend quarterly inspections of the facilities, participate in the creation of an annual report, and to maintain a working relationship with other committee members.

Anyone who is interested can learn more, view the desired qualifications, and apply online on the home page of tosv.com. The application deadline for this opportunity is July 28th at 5:00pm.
