The Town of Snowmass Village is participating in the November 5 General Election as coordinated by Pitkin County. Snowmass Village voters will see the Town Council & Mayor election and a ballot question regarding the Draw Site Workforce Housing Project appear on the ballot.

Mail ballots will be mailed by Pitkin County to registered voters on Tuesday, October 15. Completed ballots may be returned via mail, or at the drop-box located outside Snowmass Village Town Hall.

The position of Mayor and two seats for Town Council are open in this election. The Town Clerk has certified each nomination petition and the candidates for Mayor and Town Council are as follows:

Mayor:

  • Alyssa Shenk
  • Bill Madsen

Town Council:

  • Thomas Fridstein
  • Art Burrows
