Compost Your Fall Leaves

2025 Fall Composting is closed for the season.

Fall is here, and the Town of Snowmass continues its tradition of offering our residents an option to compost leaves and grass clippings. The composting container is available until it snows. 

The composting bin was located near the roundabout entrance to the Snowmass Rodeo.

The Town strongly encourages residents to utilize this composting station for disposing of their leaves rather than depositing them in the community dumpsters. Property managers and landscaping companies responsible for yard waste collection from multiple properties are kindly asked to refrain from utilizing this bin. 

This composting bin is for fall leaves ONLY!

The following items are not permitted:

• Trash
• Non-compostable items
• Branches
• Lawn Clippings
• Logs or Wood
