Fall leaf and lawn composting is now available at Town Park. This service will be available throughout the fall season, until it snows.
Fall is here, and the Town of Snowmass continues its tradition of offering our residents an option to compost leaves and lawn clippings. The composting container is available until it snows.
The composting bin is located near the roundabout entrance to the Snowmass Rodeo.
The Town strongly encourages residents to utilize this composting station for disposing of their leaves rather than depositing them in the community dumpsters. Property managers and landscaping companies responsible for yard waste collection from multiple properties are kindly asked to refrain from utilizing this bin.
This composting bin is for fall leaves only! The following items are not permitted:
- Trash
- Non-compostable items
- Branches
- Other yard waste
- Logs or Wood
