The Town Council has approved an adjustment to the Short-Term Rental (STR) permit fee. Beginning January 1, 2026, the STR Permit Fee will be $400.
STR permit renewals appear in the online system 60 days prior to their due date. As a result, any renewal due on or after December 31, 2025, will reflect the updated fee.
Important Reminders for STR Permit Holders:
- Change of Ownership – Property owners are required to notify snester@snowmass.gov of any change of ownership. A new STR permit is required when ownership changes. This requirement is not optional.
- Sales/Lodging Tax – Sales and lodging taxes must be remitted by the 20th of each month.
- Account Users – Please refrain from using the “Remove User” button in the system. If a user needs to be removed from your account, contact snester@snowmass.gov for assistance.
