Recall Special Election

The Special Election date has been set for Tuesday, October 13th, and it will be conducted as an all mail ballot election. This election is separate from the Pitkin County general election, and registered voters of Snowmass Village should expect to receive two separate mail-in ballots.

The Snowmass Village recall special election ballots will be sent out the week of September 21st. Completed ballots can then be returned by mail, and they must be received by October 13th at 7:00pm. Ballots may also be dropped off in person at Town Hall, 130 Kearns Rd., anytime between September 21st and election day. Town Hall will be open to receive ballots 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday, and on election day, October 13th, 7:00am - 7:00pm. You can update or check the status of your registration at www.pitkinvotes.org or www.govotecolorado.com.

The Village Shuttle switches to Fall service schedules on Monday, September 21st

Fall Schedule Begins Sept. 21st

Beginning on Monday, September 21st at 7:00am, the Village Shuttle will be shifting over to their fall schedule. Riders should expect most routes to end their routinely scheduled departures earlier in the day, with most schedules ending around 5:35pm. However, you can still use the Dial-a-Ride service, which will be available to riders with longer hours during the fall season. And... as always, there's no charge!

The Base Village PUD is making progress and approaching the next stage of review.

Base Village Review Process

The preliminary review process is nearing completion for the Base Village development proposal. On Monday, September 21st, Town Council will be reviewing a draft resolution to approve the project to proceed to final design. At that point, the applicants will finalize their designs and prepare to submit their final application later this year.
