Coffey Place Making ProgressFirst Units Expected to be Complete Early 2021 The Town is making substantial progress on the new Coffey Place deed-restricted homes located around the existing Rodeo Place neighborhood. The project, named in honor of the late Joe Coffey, will be comprised of 15 total units, six of which are duplexes, and the other nine being single family homes. All 15 will be sold by a lottery process to qualifying buyers.
Walkthroughs of the home are tentatively expected to take place mid to late October. The Town will open the application and qualifying process around the same time, and the lottery is expected to take place later in the year - perhaps as early as November.
The Seven Star detached units, located closest to the hillside and the Seven Star trail, are expected to be completed first and available to their new owners in January or February. The remainder of the homes will be completed in the spring, with landscaping and final details expected to be finalized throughout the summer.
The sales prices of each unit are still being finalized but are expected to range in value from $500,000 and up to $850,000. Details on the layouts and specifications are available on the Town website at tosv.com. Additional photos, pricing, and information on the sales process will be posted there as it becomes available.

Winterize Your CarGet Your Vehicle Ready for Winter Driving ConditionsSnowmass Village has already seen its first snowfall, and winter driving conditions are just around the corner. Colorado and Snowmass Village traction laws require vehicles have snow tires, traction devices, or AWD capabilities from September 1st - May 31st. In addition to having adequate snow tires, there are a number of things you can do to be prepared for winter roads:
Winter Driving Tips: - Find your ice scraper and keep it handy. Thoroughly clean snow and ice from your windshield, windows, mirrors, and lights before driving
- Make sure you have plenty of de-icer windshield wiper fluid
- Check your windshield wipers, and replace them if they are worn or cracking
- Pack a winter safety kit with things like water, extra warm clothes, a flashlight, and a sleeping bag
- Keep your gas tank at least half full
- Drive carefully when icy conditions are present.
- Approach intersections slowly, and double check for traffic and pedestrians before pulling out into an intersection or roadway.
- Never crowd the plow. Give them space to work.
- Don’t tailgate other vehicles. Allow for plenty of space between vehicles in case traffic slows or comes to a stop.
- You can also catch a ride with the Village Shuttle. Drivers work hard to keep shuttles running during snow storms. And... It's free!
