Town Council Adopts 2023 Goals

During a regular meeting of the Town Council on Monday, March 20, members of the Snowmass Village Town Council voted unanimously to approve the 2023 Town Council Goals. 

Town Council works collaboratively with one another to develop their goals after each new council is seated following an election. The goals are used to inform policy, appropriate funds, and provide direction to staff. 

The overarching priority for this Town Council is: Passionately Protecting the Village’s Community Character to Promote Balance and Emotional Connectivity. To protect the unique character of the Village and to enhance emotional and physical connections to the community, the Town Council has identified four areas of emphasis:

  1. Identify & Provide More Affordable, Community, Workforce Housing
  2. Preserve, Protect, and Retain Locally Owned AND Locally Serving Businesses
  3. Increase Community Engagement to Foster Emotional Connectivity
  4. Ensure Public Spaces and Facilities Meet Our Community’s Unique Character
